J.C.N.S. Club News
Coin Grading Classes Our introduction to Coin Grading in 2001 was a tremendous success. We covered grading Mint State Morgan Dollars and Mercury Dimes. In attendance were over 20 members from around the Kansas City area and from other nearby clubs. In May of 2002, the club sponsored another coin grading class for Early American Copper Cents and Half Cents. It too was an overwhelming success and was attended by collectors from around the Kansas City area. Thanks goes to Steve Carr for putting on such a fine class!! In September of 2002, the club sponsored Pat Cyrgalis from CGA to com and give us an overview of Currency grading, certification and an overview of what is ahead for the currency market. We thoroughly enjoyed his question and answer time. Select individuals even had some "unofficial grades" on their currency. Special thanks to Pat from CGA and Rich Gregory for putting it all together! Bill Fivaz Comes to JCNS to give a coin grading class - 2003 . We are actively planning our next Grading Class, possibly this Spring. Please keep an eye on the website for updates.
